Instructions

- Drain the grease and return the meat to the pan. Then, add the taco seasoning and beef broth and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them into individual triangles.
- Arrange the triangles on an ungreased baking sheet with the wider end in the center to create a ring with about a 5-inch opening in the center. The wider ends will overlap.
- Spread the refried beans over the wide, inner part of the ring. Then, top it with the taco meat and sprinkle it with the cheese.
- Fold the triangles over the filling and tuck the tips under the inner part of the ring.
- Bake at 375 until golden. Then, transfer the baking sheet to a wire rack to cool for a few minutes.
- Slice, top with your favorite toppings, and enjoy.

Tips
- Be sure to arrange the triangles so that they overlap and you have a nice, solid surface for your filling.
- Leave a bit of space between the filling and the edge of the solid part of the ring.
- Let the ring rest for about 10 minutes before slicing, so the filling can set.

Refrigerate leftovers for up to 4 days in an airtight, freezer-safe container. For longer storage, wrap individual taco ring slices in plastic wrap and freeze them for up to 3 months in an airtight, freezer-safe container or heavy-duty freezer bag.

Frequently Asked Questions
Either 80/20 or 90% lean ground beef is an excellent choice for tacos. 80/20 offers a more tender texture, while 90% lean ground beef keeps a nice consistency while reducing grease.
Overcooking is almost always why ground beef is rubbery. If your ground beef was frozen for too long, the texture may have changed, as well.
Ground beef is fully cooked when it’s no longer pink. There’s no need to cook it past that point. You’ll only dry it out.
