The Creators Behind Deliciously Seasoned
Each of us have worked in careers before food blogging, but we each love being able to work from home, spend more time with our families, and of course, share delicious recipes with you.

My name is Terri, and I’m a mom to 3 beautiful children. Two of which are also part of this new blog. I am also the blogger/owner of Great Grub, Delicious Treats. Previously, I worked as a full-time RN specializing in hospice care as an Admission RN. What a wonderful, and sad, job that was. I loved my job and enjoyed working to help others in their time of need and end-of-life care.
Now, as a full-time blogger, and the photographer for Delicously Seasoned, I love being able to work from home, sharing delicious recipes with all of you.
I’m Nikki, a U.S. Navy Veteran. I joined the military right after graduating from high school, and it allowed me to see so many wonderful places around the world and experience a lot of different cultures. Today, I’m married and have 3 amazing kids. After having my youngest son, I wanted to stay home, so I separated from the Navy after 11 years.
Today I work as a full-time content creator, managing the social media and marketing which allows us to bring you all our delicious recipes online. My favorite food to eat is Italian, especially our Italian sausage pasta.

I’m Halie, the youngest in the family, and currently a first-time mother to be! I moved to Texas to be close to my mom and sister. I recently worked at a Montessori school as a toddler teacher. Being around these beautiful little humans was such a blessing. I loved teaching, and it was a tough decision to leave such a rewarding job to work with my mom. However, it’s been one of the best decisions I have made in my young career.
I am the recipe creator here at Deliciously Seasoned, doing all the baking, cooking, and taste-testing to make sure each recipe is the best it can be! I love Italian and Mexican food! Some days it’s hard to choose, but I will never pass on beef enchiladas.
Recipes You Will Find on Deliciously Seasoned
As busy moms, we all understand everything that it takes to juggle life these days. We try to focus on keeping things easy for you! You will find easy slow cooker recipes and air fryer recipes, but also classics that you can make just on a stove.
We love our sweets too! Everything from potluck favorites like this lemon pretzel dessert, to Southern classics like our butter pecan pound cake.
Being from Texas means we love Tex-Mex dishes, so you will find classics like Mexican picadillo and beef and bean enchiladas. We also love creating signature recipes you can’t find anywhere else like these jalapeno popper pigs in a blanket.

Reader FAQs
Terri: I was a stay-at-home mom and loved cooking and baking, and making up different recipes. I was completely self-taught, loved old cookbooks, and family recipes. I loved coming up with new and delicious dinner ideas for my family and that has always been easy for me. My passion for cooking eventually led me to create Great Grub, Delicious Treats as a way of sharing my recipes with others. I loved showing the kids that delicious food isn’t hard to make and that anyone can cook with just the right recipe. I have taught the girls that the best meals are made with love, and the memories made when it comes to mealtime are the most cherished.
Nikki: I cook at home for my family, but my skills are better suited for cooking up content in social media rather than in the kitchen!
Halie: I have always loved cooking and have so many memories from when I was younger of cooking and baking with mom and sis.
Yes, we sure do, all of them. Sometimes we make them multiple times to get them right, and the recipes here on the blog are dishes that we often serve to our family and friends.
Terri says, I think of an idea, and then make it. I used to drive a lot with Hospice and would always think of different things I was going to make on my days off. Some of my best recipes were inspired this way. But that’s what I do, I think of something that sounds delicious and just figure it out.
And when I get on a kick, I just make lots of variations of similar recipes, like our BBQ meatloaf and bacon-wrapped mini meatloafs. Over the years, there have been many flops in the kitchen as well, but we try to take those as lessons learned rather than failures.
We find inspiration from magazines or different restaurants we go to. We love guessing what’s in a recipe and how it’s made, then we recreate it in our own way for the blog, or get inspired to make our own version of it or put our own twist on something we have eaten out.
Sometimes. I have taken readers’ requests, sort of. They might ask me to make something they have sworn by, and I give it a shot. One lady swore by her potato salad. I tried making it 3 times. Didn’t work for us. But if you want to leave a request, send us a DM through social media. We will try, but can’t promise results!
