If you love hearty shrimp dishes, then you’ve come to the right place today! This easy sheet pan recipe makes a hearty seafood meal that everyone loves! I’ve been making this recipe since the first time I discovered sheet pan meals. It started with chicken and potatoes, and I almost immediately tried a shrimp version. I’ve been making it ever since. It’s a great way to cook shrimp and vegetables perfectly and easily, and it takes so little effort! Now that it’s just me and my guy, I still make it regularly because it’s so good and so easy!

Sheet Pan Shrimp and Sausage

This recipe starts with jumbo shrimp, sliced smoked sausage, and par-boiled corn and potatoes. Then, I season it all, along with onions, and spread it all out evenly on a baking sheet lined with foil. After that, I simply bake the shrimp, sausage, and vegetables for less than 20 minutes until everything is tender and perfectly cooked. That’s all there is to it! It’s quick and easy, and it makes a great meal for any day of the week.

How to Make Sheet Pan Shrimp and Sausage

Making this recipe is just about as easy as it gets. It only takes a few minutes of prep and less than 20 minutes in the oven. It’s perfect for beginners or simply busy people.

Step 1: Par-Boil the Vegetables

Par-boil the corn on the cob and potatoes, in a large pot of water over medium high heat, until the potatoes are tender. Then, drain them and add them to a bowl.

Step 2: Prep for Baking

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil.

Step 3: Season

Drizzle the corn and potatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle them with the seasonings. Then, add the sausage, onion, and shrimp. Add the remaining oil and stir to coat everything evenly.

Step 4: Bake

Dump the seasoned shrimp and vegetables onto the baking sheet and spread them evenly. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the shrimp are cooked through. Enjoy!

Recipe Tips

  • It’s important to par-boil the corn and potatoes, or they won’t finish cooking by the time the shrimp is done.
  • Cut your corn into small pieces so they cook evenly and completely.
  • It’s important to layer the shrimp, vegetables, oil, and seasonings before mixing so everything combines uniformly.

Variations

  • Use jumbo shrimp, prawns, crab legs, or lobster tails for this recipe.
  • You can use your favorite vegetables in this recipe.
  • For a mild version, omit the red pepper flakes.

What to Serve with Sheet Pan Shrimp and Sausage

This is a hearty seafood dinner in one pan, so I like to keep things simple. I recommend serving this shrimp and sausage with garlic bread, bread sticks, or a simple side salad.
