Air Fryer Cajun Shrimp Tips
There’s not much to this recipe, which means I don’t have many tips. In fact, I only have two. They’re important, though, so be sure you give them a look.
- Always preheat your air fryer for even cooking. It’s a myth that you don’t have to preheat them.
- Remove your shrimp from the air fryer AS SOON AS the specified cooking time is over so you don’t overcook them.
Air Fryer Cajun Shrimp FAQ
If you have questions about air fryer Cajun shrimp, then read on. The following FAQ answers the most commonly asked questions about this recipe.
Can you air fry frozen shrimp?
You sure can. Air fryers are just small convection ovens, so you can cook anything in them that you’d cook in a traditional oven.
Can you stack shrimp in an air fryer?
No. You should never stack anything in an air fryer. Air fryers work by moving hot air around the food to cook it quickly and evenly. If you stack the food, it inhibits the air fryer’s ability to cook the way it should. A single layer is recommended.
What is the best Cajun seasoning?
Of course, I would say it’s mine. I am biased, after all. However, there are some brands that are rated as the best of the best in purchased Cajun seasoning. They are:
