Mini Garlic Bread PIzzas
Ingredients
- 2 French bread sticks, sliced into discs (itโs thinner than a loaf of French bread).
- 1 garlic bulb, roasted
- ยฝ teaspoon olive oil
- โ teaspoon salt
- ยฝ cup butter, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 ยฝ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ยฝ cup fresh mozzarella cheese, grated or crumbled
- 5 ounce mini pepperonis, we didnโt use all of it, and we used Hormel
Instructions
- How to Roast Garlic
- Cut ยผ off the head of the garlic.
- Place the garlic bulb, root side down, on a piece of aluminum foil about 5×5 inches.
- Drizzle olive oil over the garlic and add a pinch of salt.
- Wrap the foil around the garlic to seal completely. Place in the air fryer basket and cook at 390 degrees for 20 minutes, (to roast garlic in the oven, place on a baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes – 1 hour).
- Remove and once the garlic is cool enough to handle, unwrap.
- Squeeze the garlic cloves into a small bowl and add butter, oregano, basil, and parsley.
- Stir until all the ingredients are combined.
- Add butter mixture to each piece of bread and place on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle them with mozzarella and fresh mozzarella. Top with mini pepperonis.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes, or until desired doneness is obtained.
- Serve with marinara or your favorite dipping sauce.
