Maple Cinnamon Rolls
Just think about it. Warm maple cinnamon rolls, straight from the oven with the best gooey frosting over the top. I know that has to have your drooling. You don’t have to wait until you go out to eat or head to the bakery. You can make them at home anytime you want.
Can you freeze cinnamon roll dough before baking?
If you want to keep the cinnamon rolls on hand all the time, you can make a double batch, and free some of the cinnamon roll dough before baking it. Make everything like you are going to bake them but when you get to the second rise time, you want to place them in a pan, making sure the rolls are not touching. You want to freeze the rolls for an hour and then you can more them into a freezer bag. By freezing them apart like this before letting them touch, the rolls do not stick together and this lets you take them out one at a time, whenever you want them.
When you are ready to bake them, you will want to let them thaw overnight in the refrigerator. The next day you will want to give yourself tie because you are picking up at the second rise, which will take time. Then bake the rolls as normal.
HOW DO YOU MAKE DOUGH RISE FASTER?
While it doesn’t take that long to get dough to rise, sometimes, you just need it to happen faster. In that case, you will want to place the dough somewhere that you can also place a container of boiling water. Place the dough and the boiling water together in the space and then cover both with a damp towel. The moisture and heat will cause the yeast to work faster.
Can I make Cinnamon Roll Dough the Night Before
If you want to have the maple cinnamon rolls early in the morning, you can either get up before the sun or you can make the dough the night before. You can make the rolls all the way to the baking stage and then place them in the refrigerator. Then in the morning, you can bake them as normal.
Can you freeze baked cinnamon rolls?
Sometimes you have more rolls than will be eaten before they go bad and sometimes you want to be able to have maple rolls anytime. In that case, you can freeze the rolls even after you have glazed them. You want to freeze the rolls on a plate or a cookie sheet first. Once the rolls have frozen, you will take them out and wrap them well with plastic wrap. Place the rolls in an airtight container. Then when you are ready to serve them, let them come to room temperature and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. You can also reheat them in the oven. You might need to add more frosting to the maple cinnamon rolls.
