Pigs in a blanket are a classic appetizer that fits in any and everywhere. Whether you’re heading to a holiday gathering, a backyard party, or a game day bash, you’re either bringing this classic finger food, or you’ll find it when you get to your party. They’re so easy to make and everyone loves them. That’s why they’ve been a staple in my party snack rotation for years. I wanted to try something a little different the last time I made them, so I opted for pizza crust instead of crescent dough, and I added a little cheese to complete the dish. They came out perfectly, and I had zero leftovers. That’s when I knew I needed to share the recipe with all of you.

Little Smokie Pizza Bites

These delicious bites start with everyone’s favorite smoked sausage – Little Smokies. I take those tasty little sausages and place them and a piece of sharp cheddar cheese in the center of a pizza dough square. Then, I roll it up and seal the edges to make a sort of smoked sausage pizza pocket. Finally, I bake them all up to golden perfection and serve them with marinara or another favorite dipping sauce. They’re so easy to make and so delicious. It’s the perfect combination.
