Candied Bacon Crackers
Ingredients
- 1 pound bacon
- 1 sleeve club crackers, 32 crackers
- ยฝ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet and lightly spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
- Line the crackers on the rack.
- Cut each strip of bacon into 4 equal parts.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
- Place a piece of the cut bacon on top of each cracker followed by a teaspoon of brown sugar mixture.
- Press brown sugar down and even it out a bit.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes or until the bacon is cooked through and the mixture has caramelized.
