If you love pigs in a blanket, but they’re starting to feel a little stale, then you’ve come to the right place. Get ready to fall in love with this classic appetizer all over again because these cheddar biscuit Little Smokes take old-school pigs in a blanket to an entirely new level! I gave this little twist a try when Red Lobster first released its Cheddar Bay biscuit mix, and I’ve been making them ever since. They’re so good that people are more excited for these little treats than whatever party I’m bringing them to. They’re so tasty, in fact, that my family has actually asked me to make them often.

Cheddar Biscuit Little Smokies

This tasty twist on pigs in a blanket starts with Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuit mix that I mix according to the package directions. I wrap them around beef Little Smokies and bake them until they’re golden brown on top. Then, I make a garlic herb butter and brush it over those little sausage-stuffed biscuits. That’s all there is to it! It only takes about 30 minutes from start to finish, and when it’s all said and done, I have a plateful of a deliciously smoky, cheesy pigs in a blanket variation that disappears almost as soon as I set them out.
