To reheat this dish, place it in a baking dish and bake it covered at 350 for about 30 minutes or until heated through.

  • Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Onion
  • Swiss cheese
  • Garlic powder
  • Slap Ya Mama seasoning
  • Black pepper
  • Stove Top stuffing
  • Butter
  • Cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
  • Diced green chilies
  • Low sodium chicken broth

How to Make Slow Cooker Chicken and Stuffing

Making this recipe is a snap. In fact, the most work you’ll do is going to the store to get the ingredients. Talk about easy!

Step 1: Prep

Spray a 6-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2: Layer the Ingredients

Add the onions to the bottom of the slow cooker followed by the chicken breasts. Then, sprinkles the breasts with seasoning and place two slices of Swiss cheese on top of each breast. Add the stuffing mix, drizzle it with melted butter, and spread the cream of chicken soup over it. Finally, add the diced green chilies and chicken broth.

Step 3: Cook

Cover and cook on high for 4 ½ to 5 hours or on low for 7 to 8 hours.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 medium onion
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 ounce stove top stuffing
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 10 ounce cream of chicken soup
  • 4 ounce diced green chilies
  • 1¼ cups low sodium chicken broth

Instructions

  • Spray a 6 quart crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Add onions to the bottom of the pot followed by chicken breasts.
  • Sprinkle with seasonings, and place two slices of Swiss cheese on top of each chicken breast.
  • Add dry stuffing mix and drizzle with melted butter.
  • Next, spread the cream of chicken soup over the stuffing mix, add diced green chilies and pour chicken broth over the top.
  • Cover and cook on high for 4 ½-5 hours on high or 7-8 hours on low.
