- 1 container Pillsbury™ original crescent rolls 8 count
- 30 ounce package beef smoked sausage Eckrich® family pack
Preheat oven to 375° and lightly spray with a non-stick cooking spray.
Unroll crescent rolls and pinch the seams together and roll it out so it makes one solid crescent sheet.
Cut into long strips about an inch thick.
Take one strip and start wrapping it around the sausage.
Add another strip as needed (can cut sausage into smaller sizes before wrapping) and continue wrapping until all the sausage is wrapped.
Place wrapped sausages on prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until crescents are golden brown and sausage is heated through.
Remove from oven and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
- Don't Skip the Spray. Lightly spray your cookie sheet with nonstick spray to avoid your sausage roll ups sticking. You can also line your baking tray with parchment paper instead.
- More Color and a Bit of Shine. Brush the crescent dough with an egg wash for even more golden color.
- Serving: Enjoy these as breakfast sausage rolls or as a party appetizer or snack. I love to serve a dip or several on the side for dipping. Try them with spicy ketchup, honey mustard, BBQ sauce, jalapeño salsa, or some jalapeño cilantro dip.
- Store and Reheat: Place leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 2 months. To reheat them, bake them in the oven for 4 to 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
