This quick and easy, refreshing, strawberry peach smoothie is made with only 4 ingredients. A healthy alternative with the addition of agave in place of sugar. A delicious frozen drink everyone will enjoy and the perfect drink to serve on hot summer days.

Who loves smoothies? I’m sure most of you do. After all, you’re here reading about a smoothie. Guess what? I love them, too! I’ve been making them for years. I’ve made everything from complicated smoothies with tons of ingredients to super simple variations like this one. The ones I always come back to again and again are the simple versions. To me, smoothies are all about two things: ease and flavor. This smoothie recipe ticks both boxes. It uses simple ingredients, it’s quick and easy, and it’s tasty. It’s also healthy which is a huge bonus!
Strawberry Peach Smoothie
I love to make this recipe for a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. It’s full of vitamins and minerals, and it has no added processed sugars which I love. Strawberries, peaches, orange juice, and the natural sweetness of agave come together to create a smoothie that is sweet, flavorful, and healthy. Start the day with a blast of berries and orange juice for a big dose of vitamin C, other vitamins, and antioxidants, or whip one up as an afternoon pick me up! All of those flavors working together make your mouth so happy!
A Healthy Frozen Drink Rich in Antioxidants
This is a smoothie that tastes like dessert but is really more like a healthy food, and that’s the recipe for success, in my book. The berries, peaches, and orange juice are all full of vitamin C, polyphenols, and antioxidants, making this one powerhouse drink. What could be better than healthy food that tastes UNhealthy? Nothing, that’s what. Nothing. I don’t know about you, but starting the day with a dose of health that tastes like dessert sounds pretty great.
Variations
Outside of how delicious this recipe is, the other great thing about it is how versatile it is. You can do so much with this recipe by making simple changes. It’s wide open to interpretation, which makes it an easy way to turn one recipe into so many more. Try adding fresh mint or fresh basil leaves for a refreshing twist.
Different Fruit
One of the easiest ways to mix things up with this recipe is by adding different fruits to the mix. Use any of your favorite fruits to make it the exact smoothie that’s right for you and your family. Some of my favorite options are:
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Pineapple
- Pomegranate
- Mixed berries
- Papaya
- Guava
- Peaches
Add Alcohol
To make this fruity drink a boozy adult cocktail, just add a bit of alcohol. Vodka is the preferred spirit to add to this one. In fact, I don’t recommend adding any other kind of spirit. Other kinds of liquor will compete with the fruit flavors too much.
Frequently Asked Questions
Don’t rush to the recipe before taking a look at this FAQ. It covers all the most frequently asked questions about frozen smoothies like this one. Give these a read so you’ll know everything you need to before making your glass of frozen deliciousness.
What can be used instead of Agave Nectar?
Another great alternative to sugar in this smoothie is Stevia. It’s a completely natural sweetener that’s made from the Stevia plant and has no sugar at all! Honey and simple syrup are also great alternatives to agave nectar. I don’t recommend using xylitol or other artificial sweeteners as they can cause stomach upset in some people.
Do you thaw frozen fruit for smoothies?
Some people do, but I don’t. I love the slushie effect that the smoothie gets when I blend it up with frozen fruit.
Does frozen fruit thicken smoothies?
Absolutely. When you blend frozen fruit into your smoothie, it acts in the same way that adding ice does, making the smoothie thick and chilled.
Can a blender mix frozen fruit?
A good blender can mix frozen fruit. That’s a big, big emphasis on “good”. I use a Vitamix, and you could blend wood in that thing. However, bargain-basement blenders often can’t stand up to frozen fruits. This can result in a lumpy smoothing or parts of the blades actually breaking off. If you plan on making this frozen strawberry peach smoothie, be sure you use an excellent blender that can stand up to the process.
