Make S’mores Cups whenever you would like to enjoy the flavor of s’mores. Butter graham cracker cups are filled with toasted marshmallow fluff and topped with Hershey’s chocolate chips, so everyone will be asking for more!
How Do I Store Leftover S’mores?
You will want to make sure sto store any leftover smores well. Be sure to place the leftovers in an airtight container. These s’mores will last for a few days as long as they are stored properly. If they are stored in the refrigerator, the s’mores will last for about a week.
Can I Freeze Leftover S’mores?
Yes! You can freeze any leftover s’mores that you have. To properly freeze them, you will want to wrap them each individually in plastic wrap. Then place all of the individual cups in a larger plastic freezer bag to keep them well protected as well as keep them together.
Stored properly, the s’mores cups will last for about 3 months.
How to Reheat the S’mores Cups
You will want to reheat the cups in order to keep that ooey gooey taste. Microwave the cups for 10 seconds at a time until the chocolate has melted and the marshmallow is soft. You can also reheat the cups in the oven.
Can I Use Other Types of Chocolate?
Yes! Any type of chocolate that you prefer will work. You can even use candy bars if you would like, but it is best to place the wrappers off to the side before eating them as they may become messy.
The possibilities are endless. Some of my favorite choices for different chocolate ideas are:
Dark Chocolate Bars
Hershey Kisses
Rollo’s for a chocolate caramel flavor
Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Snicker Bar pieces
Can the S’mores Cups Be Made in Advance
Yes! These cups can be made ahead of time. In fact, they taste best when they are prepared ahead of time and allowed to sit for a few hours before serving. When you are ready to serve these cups, you can reheat them in the microwave or you can reheat them in the oven. Place them under the broiler for 30 seconds to a minute in order to reheat them and melt the chocolate. Make sure to watch them carefully so that they do not burn.
