I love hearty meals, but I also love easy. These days, I continue to gravitate towards satisfying meals that I can get on the table quickly. That’s why I love this sausage and pasta dish. With all that tasty sausage, tender pasta, and creamy sauce, it’s a dish that my family and I absolutely love, and the leftovers reheat so well! It’s the perfect dish for us, and when you try it, I think you’ll find it’s the perfect dish for your family, as well.

Smoked Sausage and Pasta

This delicious dish starts with smoked sausage that I brown in a Dutch oven. Then, I remove the sausage, add the onions, jalapenos, and seasonings to the Dutch oven, and cook it all until the onions are tender. Finally, I add the sausage back to the pot, sauce ingredients, and pasta and simmer until the noodles are tender, then stir in the shredded cheese until melted. It’s a quick and easy dish that I love to make for weeknight dinners or bring to potlucks, and it’s always a crowd-pleaser.
