Valentine's Day Cookies
These delicious, soft and chewy Valentine's Day Cookies are a quick and easy sugar cookie recipe that is great for school parties, potlucks, or a midday snack.

Ingredients
- 2 ⅔ cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 1 ¼ cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon corn syrup
- ½ cup mini red M&M's
- ¼ cup pink candy sprinkles, can use more
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, using an eclectic mixer, cream butter and sugar together until creamy, about 3 minutes.
- Beat egg, vanilla and corn syrup into mixture until combined
- In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt together.
- Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix.
- Stir mini M&M's and candy sprinkles into cookie dough.
- Using a 1 ½ inch cookie scoop, place rounded cookie dough on the prepared baking sheet.
- Gently press each cookie down and add a few mini M&M's to the tops of each cookie and candy sprinkles, if desired.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 10-11 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let cookies sit on the baking sheet for a couple minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
