- 11 oz butterscotch morsels
- ½ cup chunky peanut butter
- 4 cups cocoa rice krispies, coarsely crushed
- ⅔ cup white chocolate melting wafers, melted
- Optional: candy sprinkles
Line 2 large cookie sheets with wax paper, set aside.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butterscotch morsels until thoroughly melted.
Stir in peanut butter and cook until blended well.
Remove from heat. Add rice krispies. Stir until well coated.
Drop by tablespoon onto a prepared cookie sheet and place in the fridge to set.
Once set, remove from the fridge and drizzle with white melted chocolate and candy sprinkles.
- To easily crush the cereal, place it in a resealable bag and give it a few whacks with a rolling pin. Remember, they should be coarsely crushed, not fine.
- Keep the heat on low with melting the butterscotch and peanut butter, and stir it frequently to avoid scorching.
- Be sure to use wax paper. The treats will stick to parchment paper, leaving you with a papery bottom to your treats.
