Honey Nut Cheerio Marshmallow Treats
If you love rice krispy treats you are sure to enjoy these honey nut marshmallow treats. Easy to make, these are a nutty twist on a classic favorite.

Ingredients
- 60 large marshmallows, or 6 cups mini marshmallows
- 6 cups honey nut cereal
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup butterscotch chips, melted
- ½ cup chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Butter a 13 x 9 baking dish. Set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Once the butter has melted, add marshmallows and stir until completely combined and marshmallow have melted.
- Remove from heat. Pour cereal into saucepan and stir until well coated.
- Spoon mixture into prepared baking dish, and using a buttered spatula, spread mixture and press mixture down into baking dish.
- Sprinkle chopped peanuts over cereal mixture and then, drizzle melted butterscotch morsels on top.
- Let cool. Cut into desired sizes and enjoy.
