- 1 fresh pineapple
- 1.5 quarts vanilla ice cream, we used Breyers

Cut the top off the pineapple.
Using a pineapple corer and slicer tool (or cut by hand), core out pineapple and place pineapple slices on a cutting board.
Using a Vitamix® or blender, add ½ the pineapple slices, ½ the ice cream and ½ the fresh pineapple juice. Blend together until smooth and pour into glasses.
Repeat with the remaining pineapple, ice cream and pineapple juice then enjoy!
- Storage: Milkshakes are best enjoyed fresh, but if you end up with leftovers, freeze them in an airtight container and then re-blend them before enjoying.
- Keep your drink cold: For an extra-cold treat, pop your glasses in the freezer for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
- Check for ripeness: To check for ripeness, try pulling a leaf from the top. If it slips out easily, it’s ready to eat.
