Pastrami and Swiss Pinwheels

A delicious and easy pinwheel recipe that is loaded with sliced pastrami, shredded Swiss cheese, rolled up in a pizza crust, sliced, brushed with an Italian herb butter, and baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • 7 ounce package pastrami, sliced
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 13.8 ounce container Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust
  • ¼ cup Gulden’s spicy brown mustard
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Optional: diced pickles

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425° and lightly spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough and then brush with spicy brown mustard.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheese followed by sliced pastrami.
  • Roll the pizza dough into a tight log and slice into 1-inch medallions with a serrated knife.
  • Reshape each piece and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, melt butter and add Italian seasoning. Stir to combine and brush over pinwheels
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
