Italian Sausage Pasta Recipe

In a large dutch oven over medium heat, melt butter and cook sausage links until browned on all sides.
Once sausage has browned, remove from pan and slice into ½ inch thick pieces, then return to pan.
Add ground beef, onions, and jalapenos.
Cook until meat is no longer pink and onions and peppers are soft. Drain grease and return to pan.
Sprinkle oregano, basil, and pepper into the meat mixture. Stir to combine.
Pour tomato sauce, tomato paste, and diced tomatoes, into the pan. Stir. Cover and let simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirred occasionally.
Add beef broth and pasta to the pan. Stir and continue cooking until the pasta is tender.
Remove from heat and add shredded cheese. Stir until the cheese has melted.
Serve hot with a side salad and crusty bread.
