Chorizo Queso Dip

This delicious dip is easy to make and only uses a few simple ingredients. Chorizo is the star of the show along with two different types of cheese, Pico de Gallo, a splash of milk, zesty seasonings, and then baked to melty perfection.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce chorizo
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chile powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • cup milk
  • 4 ounce Pico de Gallo
  • 16 ounce easy melt Queso blanco cheese spread
  • 10 ounce Queso quesadilla, shredded
  • Optional Topping: sliced green onions, cilantro

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a cast iron skillet, oven medium heat, add chorizo and seasonings and cook until done. Drain grease and return to the skillet.
  • Add pico de gallo, both shredded cheeses.
  • Pour milk into the skillet and bake uncovered for 15-18 minutes.
  • Stir halfway through.
  • Top with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro.
  • Serve with tortilla chips.
