Brisket Egg Rolls

These delicious crispy golden brown brisket egg rolls are made with leftover brisket and is such an easy recipe that is loaded with flavor from the smoked beef brisket, cream cheese, shredded cheese, zesty seasonings, and diced jalapenos.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups leftover brisket, diced or shredded
  • 4 ounce cream cheese
  • 1 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
  • 2 jalapenos, stem, seeds removed, diced
  • 12-14 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1-2 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  • Add brisket, shredded cheese, seasoning and diced jalapenos. Stir until combined.
  • Heat oil over medium high heat to 375°.
  • Add a heaping tablespoon of brisket mixture to the center of the egg roll wrapper and spread out a bit.
  • Wet the edges of the wrapper and take the two sides and bring in towards the center.
  • Now, take one end and start rolling it up. If needed, wet the last edge before sealing.
  • Repeat with the remaining wrappers. until all the brisket mixture is used.
  • Place a few egg rolls at a time into the hot oil and fry until golden on all sides.
  • Remove from the oil and place on a plate lined with paper towels until all the egg rolls are cooked. Fry in batches to keep the oil at the proper temperature.
  • Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
