Ingredients

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375° and spray a 13x9 baking dish with cooking spray
  • In a large skillet, brown breakfast sausage until no longer pink. Drain and return to pan
  • Add eggs, salt, and pepper and stir until eggs are fully cooked
  • Add half of the shredded cheese to the eggs
  • Place sausage and egg mixture into prepared baking dish
  • Top with biscuits and remaining shredded cheese
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and top each biscuit with a small amount of butter and let melt
  • Serve hot. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Be sure to drain off the grease. Sausage is quite greasy and you don't want that in your casserole.
  • Make individual servings. This is especially nice for a fancier brunch. Add the egg mixture to ramekins and then top with the biscuits and cheese. Place the ramekins on a baking tray and bake as directed.
