- 7-8 fresh jalapeños rinse, stems removed, cut in half
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon dried epazote
- 1 teaspoon salt
In a small saucepan, add a tablespoon of oil and heat over high heat.
Add the cloves of garlic and brown a bit.
Using a Vitamix or blender, add jalapenos, garlic, vegetable oil, epazote and salt.
Blend until smooth.
Serve with tortilla chips, top tacos, burritos, nachos
