  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • In a large frying pan or skillet, add sausage, onion, jalapeno, garlic powder, pepper and red pepper flakes and cook, over medium heat, until sausage is no longer pink and onions and jalapenos are tender. Drain grease.
  • In the same pan, add whisked eggs, pepper, paprika and garlic salt. Scramble eggs to desired doneness.
  • Unroll crescent rolls and separate into pre cut triangles.
  • Place triangles on an ungreased baking sheet with the wider end of the crescent is in the center forming the circle with a 5-7 inch opening in the center and the smaller tip of the crescent is on the outside.
  • When forming the circle, the wider ends of the crescents will overlap each other.
  • Spoon sausage on the widest section of the crescent ring.
  • Next, add scrambled eggs on top of the sausage followed by the shredded cheese.
  • Fold the small tip of the crescent over and tuck under the wide part to secure forming the ring.
  • Whisk together egg and water and brush over the top of the pastry ring.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  • Cut into desired size and enjoy.
